Entwistle to appear in US court

A Briton extradited to face charges of murder will plead not guilty when he appears before a Massachusetts court later today.

Neil Entwistle, 27, was handed over to US Marshals and taken back to the US on a private flight, after he was arrested in London.

He is accused of killing his wife Rachel and their nine-month-old daughter, Lillian.

His court appointed lawyer, Elliot Weinstein, said that he had a brief conversation in Hopkinton police station and that his client said he would be pleading not guilty.

Mr Entwistle is due to appear before Framingham District Court later today.

Rachael and Lillian Entwistle were found shot dead in a bed on January 22, two days after they are believed to have been killed.

On January 21, Neil Enwistle left the US and returned to his family's home in Nottinghamshire.

He was arrested by Metropolitan Police at a tube station in London and agreed to be extradited following a hearing at Bow Street Magistrates Court.
