Four arrested over Pc Beshenivsky murder
Police investigating the murder of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky have arrested four men in London and Leicester.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that three men - a 24-year-old from Halifax and two 24-year-old men from London - in London on Wednesday night.
A 32-year-old man was also arrested in Leicester.
All the men are being questioned at police stations in West Yorkshire in connection with murder and firearms offences.
Pc Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead when she went to investigate an armed robbery at a travel agency in Bradford last November. Her colleague, Pc Teresa Milburn, 37, was injured in the shooting.
Two men - Yusuf Jama, 19, and Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24 - have been charged with Pc Beshenivsky's murder.
Police are still trying to trace Mr Jama's brother, Mustaf Jama, 25, in connection with the murder. He is believed to have links with Sheffield, Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester, although it is feared that he could be anywhere in the country.
Last month, two men arrested in Birmingham in connection with the investigation were released on police bail.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Mustaf Jama is asked to contact police on: 01274 373700 or Crimestoppers on: 0800 555 111.
Rewards totalling £90,000 are being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder.

Two arrested over PC murder
Two men have been arrested in Birmingham in connection with the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky. PC murder suspect arrested
Police have confirmed that a man arrested following an armed siege in Wales is one of the suspects wanted in connection with the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky last month. West Yorkshire Police said that 24-year-old Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah was one of two men arrested during the incident at a house in Cromwell Road in Newport, south Wales.

Kent Police, in partnership with officers from the Metropolitan Police Service, have arrested two men in East London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. On 3 May, Kent Police began a search for Michael Wheatley, 55, who had failed to return to HMP Standford Hill after being released on temporary licence.

Police investigating the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky are following new leads after an appeal on BBC’s ‘Crimewatch’ programme last night. Detective Superintendent Andy Brennan, who is leading the investigation, said that police had received “some interesting calls” following the programme on Tuesday night.
