CCTV footage released in hunt for solicitor's killers

Police searching for the killers of City solicitor Tom ap Rhys Price have released CCTV footage of two suspects.

In the footage, the men are shown apparently carrying out a robbery at Kensal Green Tube station, near to where the 31-year-old was killed.

The footage shows the two suspects disembarking from a northbound Bakerloo line train at the station at around 11:05pm, before they approach an Asian man, robbing him of a mobile phone, cash and an Oyster travel pass.

The men left the station about 15 minutes before Mr ap Rhys Price.

Earlier, Scotland Yard released footage of Mr ap Rhys Price walking through the Tube station. Minutes after leaving the station he was robbed by two men and stabbed in the body, hands and head in what was described as a "gratuitous" attack.

The Cambridge graduate, who worked for City firm Linklaters, had been returning to his home in Willesden, following a night out with colleagues.

The suspects have been described as black, aged in their late teens to early twenties and were wearing dark clothing with hooded tops. One is taller then the other and one is of medium build, while the other is slim.

Mr ap Rhys Price had got engaged to his fiancée Adele Eastman last October and the couple were preparing for their wedding in September.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who saw the suspects or witnessed the stabbing to come forward.
