Bodies found in Yorkshire field
Police have launched an investigation after the bodies of a man and a teenage girl were discovered in a field near Woodsetts, South Yorkshire last night.
Police have named the pair as Carolyn Lemm, 16, from Sheffield, and Lee Smith, 20, from Lincoln.
The bodies were spotted, lying close together in the field, by a police helicopter around 23:20 GMT on Tuesday night.
Post mortem examinations revealed that they died from gunshot wounds.
The alarm had been raised by a teenage girl, who ran to a nearby farmer who contacted police.
A 19-year-old man who was found in a nearby car has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been taken to a police station in Rotherham for questioning.
A firearm, recovered close to the bodies, has also been taken away for forensic examination.
All four people are believed to have travelled together in the car from Sheffield city centre.

A search had been launched when two men, a 48-year-old and 21-year-old, were reported missing by fellow climbers near North Stack near Holyhead just after 22:00 on Saturday night.

Money stolen in Securitas van raid
Police have launched an investigation after a Securitas van was robbed by a gang in Cheshire last night. The robbery happened in the Woolston area of Warrington on Wednesday night around 8:15pm. A Securitas security van, on route to a delivery, had been travelling behind a Volvo flatbed truck.

Man Accused Of Killing Internet Date Girl
A man has been charged with the manslaughter and kidnap of a teenage girl whose body was found dumped in a field. The 32-year-old, of no fixed address, is accused of killing Ashleigh Hall, 17, from Darlington, Co Durham, on Monday night. He is due to appear before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court later.
