PC shooting suspect remanded
A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky earlier this month.
Yusuf Jama, from north Kensington, London, appeared before magistrates in Leeds on Wednesday. He was also charged with robbery and firearms offences. He is due to reappear in court on December 7.
PC Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead during an armed robbery at a travel agency in Bradford on November 18.
Her colleague, PC Theresa Milburn, was also shot in the shoulder during the incident.
Police are still continuing to search for two other suspects in connection with the shooting – Yusuf Jama’s brother, 25-year-old Mustaf Jama, also from north Kensington and Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, originally from Burnley.
On Tuesday, Crimestoppers announced that it was offering a £50,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of PC Beshenivsky’s killers.

Police question PC shooting suspect
Police are continuing to question a suspect arrested yesterday in connection with the shooting of PC Sharon Beshenivsky. Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, was arrested following an armed siege in Newport, south Wales. A 23-year-old man was also arrested. Both suspects were taken to West Yorkshire where they are being questioned.

Suspect arrested over PC shooting
Police have confirmed that a man arrested on Friday at Heathrow Airport is the suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of police officer Rachael Bown. Police arrested Trevon Kyron Thomas, 24, from Bilborough, Nottingham at Heathrow Airport around 11am on Friday morning.

Four arrested over Pc Beshenivsky murder
Police investigating the murder of Pc Sharon Beshenivsky have arrested four men in London and Leicester. West Yorkshire Police confirmed that three men - a 24-year-old from Halifax and two 24-year-old men from London - in London on Wednesday night. A 32-year-old man was also arrested in Leicester.

Pc Beshenivsky Accused Admits Robbery
The man accused of murdering Pc Sharon Beshenivsky in Bradford in 2005 has admitted robbing a travel agent on the day she died. Mustaf Jama has pleaded guilty to one count of robbery. However, he denies murder, possession of firearms and possessing prohibited weapons. The 28-year-old will now face a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
