Man arrested over attempted London bomb attacks
Scotland Yard have confirmed that a man has been arrested in connection with the attempted July 21 London bombings.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in the capital by anti-terrorist police officers around 17:05 BST on Tuesday.
He remains in custody at a central London police station, where he is being questioned.
It is understood that he was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, as well as alleged immigration offences.
Four men – Hussain Osman, 27, Ibrahim Muktar Said, 27, Ramzi Mohamed, 23, Yassin Hassan Omar, 24 - have already been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to murder and possession of explosive substances, following the failed attacks.
A fifth man – Manfo Kwaku Asiedu, 32 - has also been charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to cause explosions.
The five men are due to appear before the Old Bailey on December 8.
Ten other people face charges in connection with the July 21 attacks. Four have been charged with failing to disclose information, four have been charged with assisting suspects to evade arrest and two have been charged with both offences.
All ten are due to appear before the Old Bailey on November 17.
The attempted July 21 bombings came two weeks after 52 people were killed in four separate suicide attacks on the London transport network on July 7.

Four charged with cabbie murder
Four youths have been charged in connection with the murder of taxi driver Mohammed Pervaiz in Huddersfield on Saturday. Michael David Hand, 19, and three other teenagers - two aged 17 and one aged 16 - who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Huddersfield Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Four Arrested Over Denton Fight Death
Four people, including a 15-year-old male, have been charged with the murder of a man in Denton, Greater Manchester. Police responded to reports of a fight between a group of men on Manchester Road at about 3am on Sunday 07 June. When they arrived officers found a number of men fighting. Two men had suffered serious injuries.

Mobile Customers To Share £1m Refund
Mobile provide EE is to refund around £1m to a number of customers wrongly charged VAT between October 2012 and October 2014. It is understood that EE customers who travelled outside the EU during those dates and used internet data were affected by the charges. The company estimated it as being about 0.5% of its customers.

A man has been charged under the Terrorism Act 2000 in connection with the attempted bombings in London on July 21, 2005. Detectives from Scotland Yard’s Terrorism Command arrested Lukimon Sulaimon, 23, in Brighton on Tuesday.
