Henman out in second round of Wimbledon

Tim Henman has exited the Wimbledon tennis championship at the hands of Dmitry Tursunov.

The second round match between Henman and his Russian opponent was the usual edge of the seat roller coaster ride.

In the tense fifth set Henman clung stoically on at 4-5 down when the Russian had two match points in hand to break the Russian's serve.

Henman then held his own serve despite being three break points down, as Tursunov tightened up sending vital shots out and double faulting before Henman took the game with a simple volley. Unsurprisingly the disconcerted Russian lost his serve as Tim dug deep and got a grip on the match to nose into the lead 6-5.

But Tusunov went on to break the Henman serve and with three games in a row to the Russian, its all over for the top seeded British player who crashed out 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-8 in the second round.
