Kylie and White Stripes head Glastonbury line-up
Festival-goers lucky enough to snap up tickets to this year's Glastonbury festival will be able to enjoy performances from Coldplay, Kylie Minogue and the White Stripes among others.
The White Stripes will headline the first night of the festival on June 24. They will release their new album, reportedly called 'Get Behind Me Satan', just before the festival on June 6.
Britain's Coldplay, who are also due to release a new album, 'X & Y' this summer, will headline on June 25 – marking their third appearance at the legendary festival.
Glamorous Australian pop diva, Kylie Minogue, is set to close the event on June 26 with a reportedly "hi-tech" performance, which will require adjustments to be made to the festival's main Pyramid stage.
Other acts appearing on the main stage include veteran musicians such as Elvis Costello, ex-Beach Boy Brian Wilson and Van Morrison, alongside current favourites including The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs.
The smaller other stage will play host to many current rock favourites such as Razorlight, Kasabian, Interpol and The Bravery, while the new music John Peel stage - renamed for the veteran Radio One DJ who passed away last year - will feature a line-up of up-and-coming talent including The Go! Team, Willy Mason and The Longcut.
Tickets for the three-day festival, which were priced £125, sold out in less than three hours.
Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis had previously announced that there would be no festival next year.
