Update: Rescuers searching for a young child following the discovery of the bodies of four family members who tragically died in Tuesday's storm have found a boy's body.

Search teams have been looking for Andrew, aged 7, following a tragedy in which four other family members are known to have perished.

On Wednesday, the bodies of Archie Macpherson, 36, from South Uist and his father-in-law, Malcolm 'Calum' Campbell, 67, from Benbecula were found and a short time later the body of the childrens' mother Murdina MacPherson, 37, from South Uist was discovered. Yesterday the body of Hannah, 5, was found.

The family of five were reported missing on Wednesday afternoon, in Benbecula, in the Western Isles. They left their house in South Uist in two vehicles to escape rising flood water and were last heard from at 7pm on Tuesday evening.
