Two-year-old twins die in home accident
Two-year-old twins have died following an accident at a house in Winkfield, Berkshire, on Monday afternoon.
William and Betsy Woodbridge were seriously injured when a chest of drawers they were playing near fell on top of them. The children were taken to Wexham Park Hospital by air ambulance where they later died.
The BBC has reported that the funeral is expected to be held on October 5.
Police were notified of the incident by Berkshire Ambulance service shortly before 3pm. Officers carried out their initial investigations, as is routine with any unexplained death, however the deaths are not being treated as suspicious, a Thames Valley police spokesperson said.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned to a date yet to be fixed.
