Brian Clough dies from cancer

Former Nottingham Forest and Derby County manager Brian Clough has died from stomach cancer.

The 69-year-old legend passed away in Derby City hospital after suffering from poor health in recent years.

'Cloughie' will be best remembered for steering Forest to two successive European Cups in 1979 and 1980, as well as successive League titles.

He retired in 1993 but remained one of the most outspoken men in football as well as the most accomplished English born manager to never manage the national team.
