Husband in court charged over freezer murder

A 34-year-old man has appeared in court today charged with the murder of his wife whose dismembered body was discovered in a freezer.

Paul Dalton, from Woodside Road, Kingston-upon-Thames in London, was at Kingston Magistrates Court today accused of murdering his Korean-born wife, Tae Hui Dalton, on or before May 23.

The 36-year-old's dismembered corpse was found by Mr Dalton's father inside a freezer at the couple's Woodside Road home on June 8. Mr Dalton was subsequently arrested at Heathrow airport on June 14.

Mr Dalton was remanded in custody and will reappear at the Central Criminal Court on June 30.

Morrisons To Axe 2,600 Jobs
Struggling supermarket chain Morrisons has confirmed it plans to cut 2,600 jobs and introduce a "simpler management structure" at its stores as sales and market shares continue to fall. Morrisons Record 2.6% Fall In Sales
Morrisons has said it has experienced a "solid start" to its financial year, despite falling sales. Over the first quarter of the year, sales have fallen by 2.6%. The figures, on a like-for-like basis, include fuel sales, but total sales contracted by 0.3% as new store openings helped to bolster the business.

Rooney to be questioned over brawl reports
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is to be questioned by police in relation to reports of a fight outside a nightclub. The 21-year-old England international is to be interviewed by Greater Manchester Police following allegations that a photographer was assaulted outside the Panacea nightclub in Manchester on October 15.

Police search for husband of freezer murder victim
Police are searching for a 33-year-old man following the discovery of woman's dismembered body in a freezer. The body of Tae Hui Dalton, 36, was found inside a freezer at her home in Woodside Road, Kingston-upon-Thames. Police say they would like to speak to the Korean-born woman's husband, Paul Dalton, who is missing.

Man Admits Urinating On Dying Woman
A man has admitted urinating on a dying disabled woman in a street in Hartlepool. Hartlepool Magistrates' Court heard how Anthony Anderson, 27, had spotted Christine Lakinski, 50, in a doorway near his home on July 27.
