Man arrested over murder of Liverpool teenager
Merseyside Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of a teenager in Liverpool on Saturday.
The 20-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy of the murder of Liam Kelly.
Sixteen-year-old Liam Kelly, form Upper Warwick Street, Liverpool, was shot twice in the chest and in the arm in the early hours of Saturday. Police suspect the shooting, which took place in Grafton Street in the Dingle district may be drugs related.
The suspect has been taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning.

Liverpool fan jailed for attempted murder
A Liverpool fan has been sentenced to 15 years in Bulgaria for the attempted murder of a barman, despite another man apparently confessing to the attack. Eighteen-year-old Michael Shields was found guilty of attacking barman Martin Georgiev, 25, by throwing a brick at his head in a takeaway in Varna on May 30.

Third Man Arrested In Liverpool Hit-And-Run Murder
Police in Liverpool have arrested a third man in connection with the hit-and-run death of 25-year-old Ryan Kennedy. Mr Kennedy was hit by a car that failed to stop in Gable View in the Norris Green area on 1st November. He died later of his injuries in hospital. Police said they have now arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

Police in Liverpool have appealed for witnesses after a man was chased down and shot in the back on Tuesday night. Merseyside Police say that the 30-year-old man had just left his home in Maberley View, Wavertree, with his partner and 18-month-old child, when he was confronted by a lone gunman.

Six Men Jailed After Whiskey And Chocolate Theft
Six men have been sentenced after lorries carrying whiskey and chocolate were stolen in Kent during April 2013. The thefts occurred in the Dover area. Police said high value whiskey with a retail price of £23,000 was stolen from the trailer of a lorry parked in a haulage yard in Lyndden.
