Teen stabbed during school assault

A 14-year-old boy has been taken to hospital today after being stabbed at school.

The teenage pupil suffered knife wounds this morning during an assault at Longhill School in Rottingdean, Brighton.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested and questioned by police over the incident. He has since been released without charge on police bail and has been suspended from school.

The victim has been released from Royal Sussex County Hospital and is understood to be recovering at home.

TV presenter Chris Tarrant has been arrested following an alleged assault during a domestic incident at his home, it has been emerged. Tarrant, who hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? And Colour of Money, was questioned by officers at Staines police station in Middlesex after a woman claimed she was assaulted.
