Police Appeal Following Plymouth Burglary

Police are appealing for information following a house burglary in Plymouth.

The incident occurred at a property in Portland Road, Stoke between 10pm - 7am on 04 and 05 November.

It is understood the property was entered and a number of items were stolen including an Apple Laptop computer.

A BMW 118i five-door car was also stolen after the offender(s) located the keys.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police in Plymouth.

Comedian's Stolen Tour Bus Recovered

A comedian's tour bus which was stolen outside the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool has been found, police can confirm.

Merseyside Police were called to the hall on 26 October after the bus, belonging to comedian Bill Bailey, was stolen.

The vehicle was discovered three days later in the Tuebrook area and has since been forensically examined.

Mr Bailey later tweeted his thanks to the police and the Liverpool public.

However, a laptop, several bags and suitcases belonging to the crew remain missing, Mr Bailey's manager said.

The van had also been given false number plates and suffered 'minor' crash damage.

Man Appears In Court Charged With 1995 Murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a postman 20 years ago.

Andrew Batten, 42, died after he was attacked at a taxi rank in Vicar Lane, Leeds on 13 October 1995.

Anthony John McDonnell, 45 of Whitebridge Avenue, Leeds, is charged with the manslaughter of Mr Batten.

He was granted bail and is to appear before Leeds Crown Court on 20 November.

Money stolen in Securitas van raid
Police have launched an investigation after a Securitas van was robbed by a gang in Cheshire last night. The robbery happened in the Woolston area of Warrington on Wednesday night around 8:15pm. A Securitas security van, on route to a delivery, had been travelling behind a Volvo flatbed truck.

Man remanded over Securitas raid
A 26-year-old man has appeared in court charged in connection with the £53 million Securitas depot robbery. Ermir Hysenaj, of Crowborough, East Sussex, is accused of conspiracy to rob in connection with the robbery, which took place on February 22. He was remanded in custody at Maidstone Crown Court today and is due to reappear in court on June 12.

Woman arrested over Kent depot robbery
Police investigating the £53 million robbery at the Securitas depot in Kent have arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of money laundering. The woman was arrested in Chatham, Kent yesterday afternoon and was later released on bail.

15 Arrested In Scrap Yard Raids
Police have raided five scrap metal yards in Bristol and Somerset, arresting 15 people in connection with handling stolen goods. Avon and Somerset police confirmed that over 60 officers were joined by representatives from utility companies when they carried out the raids on Tuesday morning.

Nine appear in court over £53m Securitas raid
Nine people have appeared in court charged in connection with the £53 million robbery at a Securitas depot in Tonbridge, Kent. Six men and three women appeared at the Old Bailey via video link at the plea and case management hearing. The case has now been adjourned until October 3 and a provisional trial date has been set for April 16 next year.
