Police Appeal For Witnesses Following RTC In Wales

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with serious injuries following a road traffic collision (RTC) in Wales.

The incident happened yesterday, 02 November on the A525 Ruthin Road, Wrexham.

A green Ford Fiesta collided with a male pedestrian in his 40's shortly after 6:30pm near the Brymbo Link Road.

The victim was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

North Wales Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or events leading up to it are asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit at Deeside on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Three People Killed In Welsh Traffic Collision
Three people have been killed in a road traffic collision in Wales, police have said. The incident happened in Tal-y-Bont, Conway, at 8:45pm on 29 October. A woman in her late 50's was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. North Wales Police said the victims' next of kin have been informed.

Boy Injured In Taxi Collison
A 10-year-old is being treated in hospital for serious head injuries after he was in collision with a taxi in Swansea. South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at 8.45pm last night immediately outside the Mosque in St Helen's Road, Swansea. A white Vauxhall Vectra taxi was involved.

Former police officers arrested in Lynette White murder case
Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.
