Man Charged Over White City Hit-And-Run
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run incident in White City, London, last week.
The man is said to have attended a west London police station on Tuesday where he was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
On Saturday, 17 October, shortly before 13:40 hours officers on foot patrol had attempted to speak to a man in Caxton Road, W12.
The man got into a light green Ford Focus which then drove off and collided with a pedestrian, a 13-year-old boy on Bulwer Street.
The driver of the Ford Focus failed to stop at the scene and the car was found abandoned a short time later in nearby.
The injured boy, 13-year-old Saboor Gul remains in hospital in an induced coma.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and continue to appeal for information.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw two men fleeing from the car, is asked to contact the witness appeal line on 020 8543 5157, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Man And Woman Shot Dead In Walsall
A man and a woman have died in a shooting at a house in the West Midlands. The 43-year-old man and 38-year-old woman were found by ambulance crews called to Laneside Gardens, Walsall, shortly after 01:30 BST. "Despite the best efforts of medical staff, both the man and woman died at the scene," a police spokesman said.
