Man Charged With Double Murder In Essex
A man has been charged with double murder after two people were stabbed at a care home in Essex.
Paul Mallin, 50, of Cecil Road, Ilford, is accused of murdering a man in his 80s and a woman in her 50s at the sheltered housing accommodation on 5 September.
He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court later today, 7 September.

Double Murder Suspect Arrested
Following the arrest on Sunday morning of double murder suspect James Allen police have appealed for people to check on any friends and relatives who could have come into contact him. Detectives made the appeal after 36-year-old Allen was arrested early on Sunday after being spotted by an off-duty officer on his way to work in Leeds.

Suspected London bomber to be returned to UK
A British man wanted for questioning in connection with the failed London bomb attacks on July 21 is to be extradited to the UK within 35 days, an Italian court has ruled. Osman Hussein (27) will appeal the decision to the Italian Supreme court, according to his lawyers.

A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Tower Hamlets on Monday, 14 September. A man, named by police as Zakariyya Islam (45), was found with critical stab injuries at an address on Greatorex Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Murder Investigation Launched Into Tower Hamlets Death
A murder investigation has been launched into the death of a man in Tower Hamlets on Monday, 14 September. A man, aged in his forties, was found with critical stab injuries at an address on Greatorex Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
