Tall Ship Sinks In Liverpool's Albert Dock
One of the historic tall-ships has sunk in Liverpool's Albert Dock.
A spokesperson confirmed the Brigantine Zebu sank on Friday at 4:30am.
The vessel was unoccupied during the incident and no one was injured.
A marine surveyor and a team of engineers are currently on site.
The spokesperson added it is hoped the vessel will be raised as soon as all safety inspections have taken place.
A full investigation into the cause of the sinking is underway.
The vessel is owned by the Mersey Heritage Trust.

Fishing Vessel Sinks Near Falmouth
A neighbouring ship has rescued two crewmembers of a sinking fishing vessel four miles east of Falmouth on Wednesday evening. One crewmember is seriously ill and has been transferred to Treliske Hospital in Truro after the ship sank in Gerrans Bay, the Maritime Coastguard said. Falmouth Coastguard said they were informed of the incident at 10.

Vessel Aground At Llanddulas
Last night Liverpool Coastguard received a distress call from the cargo ship Carrier telling them they had run aground at Raynes Jetty, Llanddulas. At around 8pm a strong gale was blowing and a five metre swell was reported. Because of the location of the grounding Holyhead Coastguard coordinated the rescue.

Vessel Aground In The River Clyde
A cargo vessel has had to be rescued from the River Clyde after losing engine power. At 5.50pm yesterday the Clyde Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre received a call from Estuary Control reporting that a cargo vessel the Minerva 2 had lost engine power in the River Clyde.

The Riverdance, a roll-on roll-off vessel operated by Seatruck Ferries has run aground at Blackpool. Passengers and crew were airlifted to safety after a freak wave hit the stricken vessel.

A major rescue operation off Scotland involving a listing cargo vessel has been stood down. The Latvian registered vessel Sea Fox got into difficulties when the cargo of timber shifted and the vessel developed a 50 degree list.
