Clinic Mistakenly Leaks Patients' HIV Status

A sexual health clinic has mistakenly leaked the HIV status of nearly 800 patients, it has emerged.

It is understood the clinic, at 56 Dean Street in Soho, London sent out the names and email addresses of approximately 780 patients when a newsletter was issued to clinic attendees.

A spokesperson for Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said: "We can confirm that due to an administrative error, a newsletter about services at 56 Dean Street was sent to an email group rather than individual recipients.

"We have immediately contacted all the email recipients to inform them of the error and apologise."

Referee Charged With Hacking FA Computer
A football referee has been charged with hacking a computer at the Football Association. 30-year-old Dean Mohared, of Woodley, Stockport is charged with perverting the course of justice and unauthorised access to computer data. Medical Groups Refuse Free Implant Replacements
A medical company, which fitted almost 14,000 British women with PIP breast implants, has said they will not be replacing them free of charge. The Harley Medical group is among many private medical firms to be affected by the now closed French company’s, Poly Implant Prothese (PIP), faulty implants which were filled with non-medical grade silicone.
