Investigation Launched In Homerton Death

An investigation has been launched into the death of man in Homerton in east London.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 02:54 on Wednesday, 26 August, to reports of an unresponsive man in Digby Road.

The man, believed to be aged in his mid 30s, was found with critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 03:20.

Police have said that while they believe they know the man's identity, next of kin has not yet been informed.

Police added that an initial investigation suggests that the man fell from a block of flats in Digby Road, enquiries will continue to establish the full circumstances.

Officers arrested a 32-year-old woman and two men, aged 39 and 32, near to the scene. They remain in custody pending further enquires.

Detectives from Hackney CID have appealed for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Digby Road area to call 101.

Appeal For Witnesses Following Serious Road Accident In Dudley
Police in Dudley have appealed for witnesses to a serious road accident on Saturday. A man aged in his 40s is in a critical condition in hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a collision on Oakham Road at around 15:00.
