Police Ask People To Check Outbuildings In Search For Missing Chef
Police in Scotland have asked people to check their sheds and outbuildings for any signs of Lachlan Simpson, who has been missing since 26 July.
Mr Simpson, a chef from Embo, near Dornoch, was last seen leaving the Dornoch Show dance.
The 22-year-old is described as 6ft tall, of slim to medium build, with short, fair hair. He was wearing a green and white top when he went missing.
Police officers will be making a leaflet drop in and around Dornoch in a fresh appeal for sightings of him.
Police Given More Time To Question Susan Whiting Suspects
Police have been given more time to question a man and a woman held on suspicion of the murder of Susan Whiting.
The 36-hour custody extension granted by Birmingham Magistrates' Court means that the pair, aged 34 and 35 respectively, can now be held until 3pm on Friday 21 August.
They were arrested on Tuesday afternoon following the discovery of Ms Whiting's body at a house on Heather Close, Bloxwich.
Missing 16-Year-Old Found 'Safe And Well'
Sixteen-year-old Sarah-Louise Clarke has been found "safe and well", Sussex Police have reported.
The St Leonards teenager was reported missing on Saturday, 15 August.
Police have thanked the public for their help.

A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Post-Mortem On UEA Lake Body 'Inconclusive'
Police in East Anglia have said that results from a post-mortem on the body of woman found floating in a university lake are "inconclusive". An angler reported the body on Thursday morning, and the police have been unable to identify the victim. All students, staff and visitors of the University of East Anglia (UEA) have been accounted for.

Police have appealed for help in tracing two men missing in separate incidents. 31-year-old Nelio Camacho, also known as 'Luis', was seen on 15 August in the Highgate area. Mr Camacho is a white male, 5ft 8inches tall with shoulder length brown, wavy hair and an unshaven appearance. He is Portuguese.
