Body Recovered From Seaburn Beach In Sunderland
The body of a man has been recovered from the water at Seaburn Beach.
Police were called to reports of a body spotted in the water just before 14:30 on Wednesday, 19 August. It is understood that paramedics attended to the man at the scene, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officers are trying to establish how the man came to be in the water and have appealed for anyone who may have been in the area around this time to contact police.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191.

Burst Water Main Causes Chaos
A burst water main has caused considerable flooding in Glasgow. A statement from Scottish Water said: "An issue with a faulty valve which regulates pressure has resulted in burst water mains in Mount Stuart Street, Shawlands; Cowcaddens and Duke St at the junction of East Wellington Street and Shettleston Road.

Investigation Launched Into Hotel Body Find
A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a Hull hotel room. Police said they were called to the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street at 13:00 on Sunday, where they discovered the body of a woman. She is yet t be identified.

The body of a man has been pulled from Methil Docks. Fife Constabulary confirmed today that the 44-year-old's remains were recovered from a stolen yellow pick-up truck that entered the water at dock number three at yesterday.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.
