Bus Crash In South-East London

An investigation has been launched after a public bus crashed into a row of houses in south-east London.

The bus collided with a wall in front of the houses in Brockley, coming to a stop with it's front in the air on top of the wall.

It is understood that the driver and five passengers escaped the bus without injury.

Police Appeal For Missing Walsall Woman

Police have appealed for help in tracing 20-year-old Susan Whiting, missing since Monday.

She was last seen yesterday having spent Sunday night at a friend's house on Heather Close in Dudley Fields, Walsall. She had left ahead of her mother collecting her at 8am as arranged. 

When she didn't return to her home on Station Street by lunchtime her family called police who immediately launched an investigation. 

"Susan has a learning impairment and has never been missing before. She has been gone overnight which is very unusual…. we are very concerned for her wellbeing," said Detective Sergeant Paul Reeves from Bloxwich police station. 

North Yorkshire Police Released Statement On Edward Heath

North Yorkshire Police have issued a statement regarding Edward Heath.

It states: "Following a comprehensive search of force systems, North Yorkshire Police can confirm that nothing was found to designate Edward Heath as either a suspect or a victim of crime in North Yorkshire.

"One piece of intelligence held in relation to Mr Heath, though not connected to the North Yorkshire area, has been passed to Wiltshire Police as the force leading the investigation into the deceased former Prime Minister."

IPCC Ask North Yorkshire Police For Savile Review
North Yorkshire Police has been asked to review “all relevant material” relating to contact its officers had with Jimmy Savile. According to the BBC, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is acting "in light of information received" and said it wanted to know whether there were "conduct matters that should be referred to us".

North Yorkshire Police Will Not Face Savile Action
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has ruled that North Yorkshire Police will not face any action over contact between its officers and Jimmy Savile. The force had been investigated by the IPCC "in light of information received". They have now said that following a review of "all relevant material", there will be no further action.

Man Held In Cumbria Murder Probe
A man is being questioned on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in her home in Cumbria at the weekend. The body of 52-year-old Nicola Bisset was found by in her home in Rivington Park in Appleby on Saturday, after North Yorkshire Police received a tip-off. The cause of death is still unknown.

Scarborough Man Jailed For Thousands Of Images Of Children
A 50-year-old Scarborough man has been jailed after being found with thousands of indecent images and videos of children on his computer. The National Crime Agency (NCA) arrested Roy Dove at Manchester Airport in July 2014, as he returned to the UK from the Philippines.
