Man Charged With Attacks On Three Woman In Birmingham
A 39-year-old man is due to appear in court today charged with attacking three women in Birmingham city centre on the same day.
Rehaan Akhtar is accused of trying to rob a 28-year-old on Holliday Street before assaulting a 31-year-old on Suffolk Street Queensway and then sexually assaulting a 28-year-old on Hill Street − all on 01 May 2015 between 14.40 and 14.55.
He has also been charged with a public order offence, which took place during that time at New Street station.
Akhtar, of Plymouth Road, Kings Norton, was arrested on 26 May in connection with the allegations and was charged by officers on 10 July. He is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates' Court later.

A 44-year-old man is due to appear in court today, charged with the murder of an elderly man in Bradford at the weekend. The 80-year-old man was found at a property on Gibson Street in the city on Saturday. A post-mortem revealed the victim had received multiple stab wounds.
