Appeal Issued For Man Who Failed To Return Home From Work
Police in Wolverhampton have issued an appeal for help in tracing 45-year-old Simon Wilkes, who failed to return home from work on Monday.
It is understood that Mr Wilkes left his work place in Ettingshall Road at 16:30 on Monday, 3 August, but didn’t arrive at his home in Wood end Road, Wednesfield.
Police said they are concerned as Mr Wilkes takes medication for a medical condition, which he hasn’t got with him.
Officers have been searching canal routes where Simon cycles to and from work and are appealing for anyone who has seen him to contact them on 101.
He is described as white and was wearing a navy uniform of trousers and sweat shirt and a reflective jacket with a reflective tabard underneath and a blue cap. He was riding a burgundy mountain bike.
PC Damian Roe from Wolverhampton Police said: "We are extremely concerned about Simon, who has never been missing before. We are searching the route he would have taken by the canal through Ettingshall and Bilston. If anyone can help please contact us."
