Two Killed, One Hospitalised In Garage Fire

Two people have died after a fire broke out at a row of garages in the Ladywell area of London on Monday, shortly before 8.30am.

The fire on Malyons Road consumed eight garages.

One man escaped the fire and received treatment for smoke inhalation. He was later taken to hospital.

Two other people were pronounced dead at the scene.

The London Fire Service said the blaze destroyed most of the garage and a gas cylinder that was inside was cooled down by crews.

An investigation into the fire will now be carried out.
