Parents Warned After 13-Year-Olds Buy Ecstasy

Greater Manchester Police have warned parents to "be aware" of their children's behaviour following reports that two 13-year-old girls bought and took ecstasy.

It is understood that the force is investigating after parents reported that their daughter and her friend had admitted taking the drug.

Posting on their Facebook page, police said: "We are currently working with the parents and the school liaison officer to obtain intelligence about who sold the ecstasy to the young teenagers.

"Please can all parents be aware if their child is acting suspicious."

Inquest Adjourned In Vale Of Glamorgan Beach Death

An inquest has opened into the death of a woman on a beach in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Georgina Le Fjord (23) died after she was hit by a rock that fell from a cliff in Llantwit Major on 18 June.

The inquest at Cardiff Coroner's Court was adjourned until 7 September.

Police Renew Appeal For Wanted Prisoner

Police in Scotland have renewed an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Martin hamilton, who is wanted in relation to a Revocation of Licence Warrant.

Hamilton was released on licence in September, 2014, but has since been recalled to prison.

Police said that the 53-year-old may be dangerous and urged members of the public not to approach him and to contact officers if they saw him.

Two Arrested During Search For Missing Brothers
Two people have been arrested by police searching for three brothers missing since Monday. It is now known that the brothers, Remus (15), Janko (12) and David (10), caught a train to Newcastle while their foster parents thought they were out for a bike ride on Monday evening. The brothers were seen on CCTV leaving Newcastle's Central Station.

Police Report Missing Teen Found 'Safe And Well'
Police have reported that a missing 15-year-old girl has been found "safe and well". At the time of her disappearance Ella Hysom, from Colchester, Essex, had been receiving treatment for depression at a hospital in Goodmayes, east London. She had been reported missing on Monday, having been last seen in Ilford, east London.

Boost For Lone Parent Job Seekers
Thousands of lone parents will get extra help to attain training and work experience while their children are at nursery school, the Government announced today.
