18-Year-Old Arrested Over Carlisle Teen Murder

The body of 14-year-old Jordan was found on Tuesday morning at a cemetery on Manor Road.
Police made the arrest on Wednesday morning but said that their investigation is continuing, renewing their appeal for information from the public.
Detective Superintendent Andy Slattery said: "The arrest is only one line of enquiry and we are urging anybody with information to still come forward and let us know.
"Did you see Jordan on the night of June 15thor early on June 16th? Did you see or hear anything suspicious, or notice someone acting out of character or who had signs that they may have been in a fight?
"Any piece of information, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, could be crucial in our investigation and we would like your help, please call us on 101 and ask to speak North Cumbria CID.
"If you would like to report something anonymously you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
It is understood that Jordan was last seen at approximately 11pm by a friend, at an address near the cemetery. He was wearing a blue and grey hoodie, a black Adidas t-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms and grey Nike trainers.
The cemetery remains closed and is expected to be so for some time. Police apologised for the effect this may have on the community.
