Man Arrested Over Wolverhampton Double Stabbing
A man has been arrested in Wolverhampton in connection with a double stabbing on Sunday afternoon.
West Midlands Police had issued a wanted notice for 24-year-old Marcel Mowbray. He was arrested at about 13:45 in the Bushbury Lane area of Wolverhampton.
Police are questioning him in relation to the stabbing of two people at an address in Eastfield Grove.
A 57-year-old woman was taken to hospital with stab wounds to the neck. She remains in a critical condition, while a 55-year-old man was also admitted with non-life threatening injuries to his back.
A full investigation is underway into the attack, which is believed to have been a domestic assault on family members.

Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
