Search For Mother And Son Continues
Police are continuing to search for a mother and her three-year-old son who have been missing since 26 May.
Rebecca Minnock went missing with her son, Ethan, the day before she was due to appear in court for a custody hearing with her former partner.
Previously imposed reporting restrictions have been lived to allow police to widen their search for Ms Minnock.
There have been possible sightings of Rebecca in the Gloucestershire area (Cheltenham) and also the Birmingham area.
DCI Marie Wright said: "It is fairly unusual for a court to lift the reporting restrictions, allowing us to act as their agents and continue the search for Becky and her son.
"Since they were last seen in Taunton on May 26, we have reports that they have been spotted in the Cheltenham area and more recently in the Birmingham area of the West Midlands. We are keen to hear from Becky or from anyone who knows her whereabouts."
Becky is described as a white woman, aged 35 years, about 5ft 3ins tall of medium build. She has dark wavy shoulder length hair. It is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.
Ethan is a white boy, three-years-old of small build with blond/fair hair and blue eyes.
Police said that Ms Minnock does not drive and regularly uses public transport, and urged anyone who uses public transport to keep a lookout for Becky and her son.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Somerset Investigations via the police information number 101 and ask to be directed to Avon and Somerset Police.

Police have reported that Rebecca Minnock and her three-year-old son Ethan have been found "safe and well". Rebecca, known as Becky, had been missing with Ethan since May 26. She made contact with police on Friday 12 June. It is understood that she was staying in the Oxford area.

Search For Rebecca Watts Intensifies
The search for 16-year-old Rebecca Watts has been intensified. More police officers are at a number of locations and are searching within a 2km radius of Becky's home address in the St George area of Bristol. A police spokesperson said: "We can confirm that, at this stage, no significant items have been identified during these searches.

Man Appears In Court Charged With Double Murder
A man has appeared before a district judge charged with murdering a woman and her baby. Wesley John Williams, 28, was charged with the murders of Yvonne Walsh, 25, and her seven-month-old son Harrison. Williams from Birmingham spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

The Ministry of Defence has named the British marine who was killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday. Corporal Stephen Paul Curley, 26, from 40 Commando Royal Marines, died in an explosion while he was conducting a ground domination foot patrol through the southern Green Zone.

Police Search For Missing Woman And Son
Police are searching for a woman who has gone missing with her one-year-old son. Michelle Kelly and son Jaden, from Basildon, were reported missing on Friday 16 August. Jaden is subject of a care order with parental responsibility having been given to Essex Social Services.
