Three Arrested By Anti-Terrorism Unit In Walsall
West Midland Police have arrested two men and a woman in Walsall on suspicion of Syria related terrorism offences.
Officers from the Counter Terrorism Unit carried out raids on three addresses at 6am on Tuesday morning.
Two men aged 21 and 27, and a 21-year-old woman, were arrested at their homes.
Searches are now being carried out at eight associated addresses in the Walsall area and one in Moseley, Birmingham.
The arrests were made under terrorism legislation, meaning officers have an initial 48 hours to question the suspects before charging, releasing or applying for a warrant of further detention.
Police said that the raids were "pre-planned and intelligence led" and that there is no immediate threat to public safety.

Two Arrested At Heathrow In Terrorism Offences
Police have arrested a man and woman at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of Syria-related terrorism offences. It is understood that a 20-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were arrested at about 22:30 on Tuesday night after they arrived in the UK on a flight from Istanbul, Turkey.

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. Police are investigating approximately 60 offences in connection with the operation relating to female victims in Oxford between 1999 and 2007.
