Two Killed In Crash In South-West Scotland

Two men have died following a road traffic accident in Wigtownshire, south-west Scotland.

One vehicle was involved in the accident.

It is understood the victims, aged 18 and 25, were travelling in a Vauxhall Corsa which struck a bridge on the A747 Glenluce to Glasserton Road, near Port William.

The crash happened just before 9.30pm on Monday, 18 May.

One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The 25-year-old later died in hospital.

An investigation into the accident is underway.

Police have appealed for witnesses.

Three Charged With Murder
Two men and a teenage boy have been charged with murder. The Met Police said the accused are aged 14, 18, and 20. The victim was 21-year-old Haile Langa, who died on Thursday, 5 November, from a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead shortly after 3pm on Thursday after police had been called to an incident in Watling Gardens.

Shawbury Murder Victims Died From Head Injuries
Police investigating the deaths of two men in a flat above a fish and chip shop in Shawbury, North Shropshire, have confirmed that they died from head injuries. A murder inquiry was launched after the two bodies were discovered in a flat above Mike's Fish Bar in Drayton Road, shortly before 10am last Friday.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Pilot Who Fell Ill Dies after Passenger Safely Lands Plane
A passenger has been forced to make an emergency landing at Humberside Airport after the plane's pilot became ill. Police have confirmed the pilot later died, however they were unable to confirm the cause of death. His family has been informed. Two flight instructor talked to the passenger as he took control of the plane.
