Teen Critical Following Stabbing In Kent

A teenager is in a critical but stable condition in hospital following a stabbing incident in Ramsgate, Kent, over the weekend.

Police said the victim, aged 17, was hurt in Central Road at around 4.25pm on Saturday, during what was described as a "disturbance".

He was taken to a hospital in London.

Detective Sergeant Martin Glynn, from Kent Police, said a fight in the area had escalated and the teen had suffered a "serious stab wound to his back".

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.

Kent Police, in partnership with officers from the Metropolitan Police Service, have arrested two men in East London on suspicion of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. On 3 May, Kent Police began a search for Michael Wheatley, 55, who had failed to return to HMP Standford Hill after being released on temporary licence.

Man Dies In London Blaze
A man has died following a blaze at a block of flats in south-east London. Firefighters found the man collapsed on the fourth floor of the seven floor building at 11.30pm on Tuesday. London Fire Brigage (LFB) said that three engines and around 15 firefighters were deployed to tackle the fire at the building in Steadman Street, Walworth, Southwark.

‘Piano Man’ returns home to Germany
The mysterious ‘Piano Man’ has been identified and has been discharged from hospital, it has emerged. West Kent NHS and Social Care Trust, which had been caring for the man since April, confirmed that he had been discharged from their care following a “marked improvement” in his condition.
