Body Found At Birmingham Recycling Plant

The body of a man has been found at a recycling plant in Birmingham.

Workers at the plant on Armoury Road, Sparkhill, discovered the body shortly after 10am this morning (Wednesday).

Police have cordoned off the plant and an investigation is underway.

Police said they are trying to establish if the man's death is suspicious.

Police Say Bristol Recycling Plant Body Find 'Not Suspicious'
Police investigating the discovery of a body at a Bristol recycling plant have said the case is not being treated as suspicious. The body of 34-year-old Matthew Symonds was found at a Biffa depot in Avonmouth on 1st August. Police say that a file is being prepared for the coroner which will include a post-mortem examination's findings.

Third Body Found In Arson Attack Mansion
A third body has been found in the burnt-out mansion of a millionaire businessman. Christopher Foster, 50, his wife Jill, 49, and their 15-year-old daughter Kirstie had not been seen since the arson attack last Tuesday at Osbaston House, a large country estate in Shropshire. West Mercia Police are treating the case as a murder inquiry.

Police Identify Body Found In Forth
Police have confirmed that the body found in the Firth of Forth on Sunday is that of missing man Charles McLachlan. Mr McLachlan, 39, went missing from his home in West Lothian on June 10.

Inquiry After Body Found In Sewage Plant
A murder inquiry is underway after the body of a woman was found in a sewage plant in south-east London. Kaylene Lyle, 43, was found floating in a 10ft settlement tank at Britain's biggest sewage treatment facility in Abbey Wood. A post mortem carried out found Ms Lyle had drowned, but she had also received extensive injuries from machinery.
