Urgent Appeal Issued For Missing Coventry Teenagers
West Midlands Police have issued an urgent appeal for information on the whereabouts of two teenage girls from Coventry.
The 15-year-old girls – Nina Kryukova and Denis Murphy – have not been seen since Monday, when they failed to arrive at Blue Coat Church of England School.
Police believe that the friends were in Birmingham City centre at around midday on Monday, but neither girl has made contact with their family since leaving home.
Coventry Police PC Alicia White, said: "Both families are naturally very worried. It's totally out of character for them to simply vanish and I'd urge anyone who believes they've seen them to contact us immediately.
"Nina and Denis are vulnerable teenagers, not street wise it's fair to say, so we urgently want to ensure they are safe and well."
Nina is described as white, around 5ft 5ins tall, with long, light brown hair and silver braces on her teeth, while Denis is white, 5ft 8ins tall, thin, and with long black hair.
Both were wearing blue school uniforms at the time they were last seen, including a dark blue blazer and dark blue trousers, though it's understood both had hoodies with them. Nina was also carrying a green fabric rucksack.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Coventry Central police station on the 101 number.
