UK Unemployment Drops In Three Months To February
Unemployment in the UK has fallen by 76,000 in the three months to February, down 1.3% on the same period in 2014, new figures from the Office for National Statistics(ONS) have revealed.
UK unemployment now stands at 1.84 million, or 5.6%, which the ONS said is in line with forecasts.
The figures also show that the number of people in employment rose by 2480,000 to 31.05 million, the largest increase since April 2014.
Other key figures show that Jobseeker's Allowance claims fell by 20,700 to 772,400 and long-term unemployment – people out of work for more than 12 months – fell 188,000 to 623,000.

Unemployment rises to 5.1%
Figures from the Office for National Statistics have revealed that the UK unemployment rate has risen to 5.1%, this is a rise of 0.3% from the previous quarter's figure of 4.8%. The unemployment level was 1.54 million in the three months to December 2005, up 108,000 from the three months to September 2005 and up 123,000 from a year earlier.

UK Unemployment At Six Year Low
UK unemployment has fallen below two million for the first since 2008, the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveal. In the three months to August this year unemployment fell by 154,000, the ONS figures showing that the rate now stands at 1.97 million, or 6%.

Unemployment Levels Reach 12-Year High
Unemployment levels in the UK have risen by 232,000 to 2.26 million in the three months to April - the highest level in more than 12 years. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) also said the number of people claiming jobseeker's allowance increased by 39,300 in May to 1.

Little change in UK's unemployment rate
The latest UK unemployment figures have revealed little change in the number of people out of work. The ILO unemployment rate was 4.7%, unchanged on the same period last year and around the lowest figure seen for 30 years. According to the ONS figures, there are 28.8 million people in work in June to August 2005, more than ever before - and 74.
