Arrest Made In Preacher Murder Investigation
The Metropolitan Police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Syrian-born preacher in north-west London.
48-year-old Abdul Hadi Arwani was found shot dead in a car on Tuesday in Wembley.
It is understood that counter-terrorism police have been leading the investigation into his murder.
A 46-year-old man was arrested in Brent, north-west London on Sunday.
Police renewed their appeal for information, and in particular want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Arwani or his car, a dark coloured Volkswagen Passat, that day or on Sunday 5 April.

Police Investigating New Forest Murder Arrest Second Man
Police investigating the murder of a woman found dead in the New Forest have arrested a second man. 47-year-old Penelope Davis was found with multiple stab wounds in a field at Leygreen Farm in Beaulieu on 2nd September. Police arrested a 36-year-old man on Tuesday evening in Southampton in connection with the murder.

French Police Arrest Man Over Alps Murder Of British Family
A man has been arrested by French police in connection with the murder of a British family in the Alps in 2012. The 48-year-old man from the Haute-Savoie region is being held in formal custody, French police have said. It is understood that the man was arrested following the publication of an identikit image released in November.

Double Murder Investigation Underway After Bodies Found In Garden
The discovery of human remains at a house in Nottinghamshire has become a double murder investigation, police have said. Police were speaking on Monday about the discovery on October 10 of the remains of two bodies in the garden of a house in Blenheim Close, Forest Town, Nottinghamshire. Police say they were led to the property by a tip.

Rhys Murder Investigators Arrest Firearms Suspects
Police investigating the murder of Rhys Jones in Liverpool in August have arrested two people on suspicion of possession of firearms and ammunition. Merseyside Police confirmed that two youths, aged 16 and 18 and both from Croxteth in Liverpool, had been arrested and stressed that the pair had not been arrested for Rhys' murder.
