Police Appeal For Witnesses To Attempted Murder
Police are appealing for witnesses of the attempted murder of two men at a block of flats in Edinburgh.
Police Scotland said the two men, both in their 40s, had travelled from Aberdeen to the flats on Wardieburn Street West, Edinburgh on Wednesday to buy a car.
However, when the men arrived at about 18:00 they were attacked by "two young men".
It is understood that both men were stabbed during the attack. It is not yet clear if the men were robbed.
One of the men remains in a critical condition in hospital.
One of the attacks is described as a white male, aged 17 to 19, with light-coloured short hair. He is believed to have had a Central Scotland accent and was wearing a light-coloured sky blue hooded sweatshirt and grey jogging bottoms.
The second suspect is described as white, aged in his mid 20s and a stocky build.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
