Former DJ Neil Fox To Be Charged With Nine Sex Offences

DJ Neil Fox has been charged with nine sex offences against six victims, Scotland Yard has announced.

The 53-year-old radio DJ was arrested in September last year at the central London studios of Magic FM. He was then further arrested in December.

Police said that Fox will face charges of indecent assault against two girls under the age of 16 and one under the age of 14. The offences are alleged to have happened between 1991 and 1996.

He also faces another six charges relating to three women, alleged to have taken place between 2003 and 2014.

The former Pop Idol judge was dropped from his Magic FM following his arrest.

Police said that the arrest and charges do not form part of Operation Yewtree, set up after the Jimmy Saville scandal.
