UK Will 'No Longer Tolerate' Islamic Extremists - Home Secretary
The Home Secretary Theresa May has called on individuals, families and communities to join a "partnership" to tackle Islamist extremists in the UK.
Speaking in London Mrs May said that the UK "will no longer tolerate" extremists who "reject our values", and said that everyone Britain had "responsibilities as well as rights", and must respect laws, institutions and the rights of others.
Mrs May laid out a Conservative plan to ban hate preachers and launch a review of Sharia courts in England and Wales.
The Home Secretary claimed that there was "increasing evidence that a small but significant number of people living in Britain - almost all of whom are British citizens - reject our values".
