Swansea Firm Safeguards Jobs With Investment

Almost 120 jobs are to be created in the next three years by Swansea firm, Trojan Electronics.

The company announced the jobs as part of a £2.5m investment, which will see them move to new premises.

The money, which is understood to be being provided by the Welsh government and the Santander group, will also safeguard the company's existing 110 jobs.

Almost 90 new graduate jobs are to be created by clinical research company PRA Health Services in Swansea. The jobs announcement follows the approval of funding of £990,000 from the Welsh government.

Virgin Media To Create Thousands Of Jobs Following Broadband Investment
Up to 6,000 new jobs could be created with a £3 billion investment in fibre optic broadband Virgin Media has announced. The company, which currently has five million customers, said that the investment is the largest in the UK for more than a decade and would be worth £8bn in terms of stimulating economic activity.
