Police Seek Lewisham Man Over Body Found In Burning Car
Police investigating the discovery of a woman's body in a burning car in West Sussex want to speak to Christopher Raymond Jeffrey-Shaw.
The body was found in the boot of a burning Volkswagen Jetta, near Ifield Golf Club on Rusper Road, Ifield, on Friday afternoon.
Police are still trying to identify the victim, who is believed to be a woman aged in her 20s. Police have said they want to speak to 26-year-old Christopher Raymond Jeffrey-Shaw, from Lewisham.
He is described as being 6ft (1.8m) tall, of stocky build with dark hair and a stubbly goatee beard.
Detective Chief Inspector Karen Mizzi, of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team, who is leading the investigation, said: "We need to urgently trace Christopher Jeffrey-Shaw in connection with this murder inquiry.
"A young woman has died in horrific circumstances. If anyone has any knowledge of where this man is or may know the identity of the victim, please come forward."

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
