60 New Jobs In Aerospace Company Expansion
Sixty new jobs are to be created in Deeside, north Wales, by American aerospace company, the Triumph Group.
The company is creating the jobs with a £5m investment in an expansion of its current site, after it won a new contract to supply Airbus with aircraft landing gear components, prompting the development.
It is understood that production is being moved from China to north Wales.

Staff At North Wales Bus Company Find Company Ceases Overnight
Employees of Western Greyhound in Cornwall have arrived at work this morning to find the company has ceased trading. According to a report by the BBC, around 40 staff arrived for work on Friday morning and found the depot closed.

100 New Jobs To Be Created By Turbine Company
A new turbine assembly plant in Wales is to create 100 new jobs. Tidal Lagoon Power, which will manufacture turbines for the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon project, has not yet decided on a site for its plant, but is understood to be considering three in south-west Wales.

70 New Jobs For South Wales
A total of 70 news jobs are to be created in South Wales by packaging firm, Seda. The company, which manufactures a range of packaging for the food industry, is also safeguarding another 170 jobs at its Blackwood plant.

A UK teenager has sold an app he created to Yahoo for an undisclosed sum, thought to be “dozens of millions”. 17-year-old Nick D’Aloisio created the app Summly, which summarizes news stories from popular media companies. He launched the app when he was just 15 and soon attracted more than £1m of investment.

Teens Leave School Without Sat Results
Thousands of children will be finishing school today without their Standard Assessment Test (Sat) test results. The American company, Educational Testing Services (ETS), responsible for the marking of the tests, has been accused of serial incompetence. There are reports of schools being sent back unmarked papers, some of which remain unopened.
