Two Arrested Over Bath Truck Accident Deaths

Police investigating a fatal tipper truck accident in Bath have arrested two men.

Four people died after the 30-tonne truck lost control on Lansdown Lane hitting pedestrians and parked cars on 09 February.

4-year-old Mitzi Steady died alongside Phil Allen (52), Stephen Vaughan (34) and Robert Parker (59).

Two men, aged 19 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence.

Eight Men Arrested Following Dawn Raids
Over 100 police officers have carried out a series of raids concerning child sexual exploitation offences in Oxford. Eight men were arrested following the raids at 6am this morning 2 June. BA Staff Arrested Following Jet Damage
Two British Airways (BA) baggage handlers have been arrested after a truck crashed into a jet due for take-off, police have said. Police questioned a 54-year-old and 49-year-old after a gash was found on the fuselage of a BA-owned Airbus A321 on 9 January. The pair have since been released on bail.

10-year-old British child killed in Crete
A 10-year-old British boy has died and three other children and an adult have been injured in a coach crash on the Mediterranean island of Crete this morning. The crash happened at midnight (2am GMT) when the coach, which was carrying 30 British tourists, was hit by a truck close to the resort of Malia.

A second British child has died in a Cretan hospital following yesterday's road tragedy close to the resort of Malia. The crash happened at midnight (2am GMT) when the coach, which was carrying 30 British tourists, was hit by a truck and car close to the resort town. Paul Amar, 10, died shortly after the crash.

Police Name 'Person Of Interest' In Fatal Leeds Stabbing
Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Leeds have released the name of a man they say is of "significant interest" to their investigation. Police want to speak with 33-year-old Damien Dhers, in connection with the death of 31-year-old Marlon Small. Mr Small was found injured in Merrion Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
