Premature Baby Flies Home From New York

A stranded British couple who's baby was born 11 weeks early while on a trip to New York, have been allowed to fly home.

Katie Amos gave birth on 28 December, while in New York with her partner Lee Johnston. Their child, named Dax, was 11 weeks premature and weighed 3lb at birth.

The family had been told they would not be allowed to travel home to Skegness due to the baby's medical needs.

However, they have now returned home on a medically equipped private jet.
