Investigation Launched Into Hotel Body Find

A murder investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in a Hull hotel room.

Police said they were called to the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street at 13:00 on Sunday, where they discovered the body of a woman. She is yet t be identified.

Police added that a 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the investigation.

Police in Fife have appealed for information into an ongoing investigation following the discovery of a man's body in Glenrothes. Police discovered the body of Aleksandrs Sokolovs (29) inside a property on Tummel Road on Monday. The death of the Latvian-national is being treated as suspicious.

Murder Investigation Launched After 3-Year-Old Found In Hotel Swimming Pool
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a three-year-old girl at a hotel in Lancashire. It is understood that the child died after being pulled from a swimming pool at Dalmeny Hotel on South Promenade in St Annes. Emergency services responded to a report that a child was "drowning" on Thursday morning.

Concern over fourth missing prostitute in Ipswich
Police say they are concerned about the disappearance of a fourth woman in Ipswich, where three women's bodies have been found in the last week. Suffolk Police are now looking for a fourth prostitute Paula Clennell, 24, who was last seen on Saturday night.

Murder Investigation Launched After Body Found In Liverpool Alleyway
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman's body in an alleyway in Liverpool. Merseyside police said that the woman's body was found in the Fairfield area on Monday, 28 September. A post-mortem examination has confirmed that the woman died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head.
