Tour De Yorkshire Route Revealed
The route of the Tour de Yorkshire has been revealed.
Beginning on Friday 01 May in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, the three-day cycling event will travel around Yorkshire to Scarborough, Selby, Wakefield and York, before finishing at Roundhay Park in Leeds.

Underground Dinosaur Museum Proposed For Dorset
Plans have been unveiled for an underground dinosaur museum at Portland in Dorset.
The £80m attraction, christened Jurassica, proposes a 40m-deep limestone quarry, with the charity behind the plans saying that it could attract almost one million visitors a year and bring £20m into the local economy.
If approved, the park could be operational by 2020 and create 150 new jobs.
Brian Blessed Finishes Play After Collapsing Onstage
Brian Blessed returned to finish a performance of King Lear, twenty minutes after collapsing onstage.
The play had just gotten underway at Holy Trinity Church in Guildford on Monday when the 78-year-old actor fainted and fell from a raised platform.
It is understood that co-star Noel White, addressed the audience, saying that it was not part of the performance and called for a doctor.
Mr Blessed was seen by a doctor backstage, and around twenty minutes after the incident, returned and completed the play.

IPCC Ask North Yorkshire Police For Savile Review
North Yorkshire Police has been asked to review “all relevant material” relating to contact its officers had with Jimmy Savile. According to the BBC, the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is acting "in light of information received" and said it wanted to know whether there were "conduct matters that should be referred to us".

North Yorkshire Pub Fined For Polluting Waterway
A north Yorkshire pub has been fined £150,000 for polluting a watercourse in Teeside. The Environment Agency prosecuted the Spirit Pub Company Ltd, owners of the Cross Keys Inn in Guisborough, after investigations revealed that sewage was not being treated effectively before being discharged.
