Police Investigate 'Unexplained' Death In Cambridge

Four men arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body in a shop in Cambridge have been released on bail.

It is understood the body of man, aged in his 40s, was found at about 06:30 on Monday at the One-Stop shop in Ditton Lane in Cambridge.

Police investigating the man's death had arrested four men on suspicion of manslaughter, but they have since been released.

Police have also revealed that the dead man was allegedly involved in an "altercation with a man and his dog", in which he allegedly bit the dog.

All police have revealed about the dead man is that he was from Cambridge.

It is understood a post-mortem examination which was carried out on Tuesday proved "inconclusive".

The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Cambridge Death Becomes Murder Investigation
Police in Cambridge have launched a murder investigation following the death of 21-year-old Alex Jeffery, who was hit by a car following a fight outside a hotel. It is understood Mr Jeffery had been involved in a fight at about 03:40 outside the Cambridge City Hotel on Downing Street on 1st November before being struck by a car.

TV presenter Chris Tarrant has been arrested following an alleged assault during a domestic incident at his home, it has been emerged. Tarrant, who hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? And Colour of Money, was questioned by officers at Staines police station in Middlesex after a woman claimed she was assaulted.

British Man Dies In Dubai Police Custody
A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
