Appeal Over Everton Armed Robbery
Detectives in Anfield have appealed for witnesses following an armed robbery at premises on Breck Road in Everton on Tuesday 9 December.
At about 11:15, police were called to reports that a man had entered a Betfred shop and threatened the cashier with what is believed to be a gun and demanded money.
The man then fled with a small quantity of cash along Breck Road.
Anyone with information can contact police on 0151 777 4840 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
Appeal Over Assault In West Yorkshire
West Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Heckmondwike earlier this month.
The 43-year-old victim was walking along Union Road just before 13:00 on Tuesday 2 December when a man approached him and pushed him, causing him to fall and cut his head.
It is understood the victim had been in a disagreement over a parking issue with the passenger of a blue car in Market Street around 15 minutes beforehand.
Police Charge Man Over Indecent Images
A man has been charged with the possession and distribution of indecent imagery in Wigan.
The charges follow a search by police on Monday 11 August 2014 of a house in Wigan, during which a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing and distributing indecent images.
A number of electronic devices were seized and the man was bailed to allow for forensic examination of these items.
On Wednesday 10 December 2014, Ian Toase of no fixed abode was charged with the possession and distribution of indecent images of children.
He is due to appear at Wigan Magistrates Court on Tuesday 23 December 2014.

A British man has died in police custody in Dubai. Lee Bradley Brown, 39, from east London, died on Tuesday after he was taken to a Dubai police station where he was allegedly assaulted and put into a cell. It has been reported that Mr Brown, was arrested over a row at the luxury hotel Burj Al Arab hotel.

Man Arrested Over Kent Doctor's Murder
A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a doctor in Kent. Consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei, 54, was found in her car in the driveway of her home in Dartford on August 14. She had been stabbed to death. Kent Police said that the man was arrested on suspicion of murder at an address in Dartford.
